Sail from the Castle on the Sea heading southwest and look for the island covered in giant ring-shaped formations. The Dough King spawns at the central courtyard of the kingdom, surrounded by dough platforms and traps. The arena is flat but littered with sticky dough hazards that can slow your movement significantly.

The Dough King's signature hazard is his ability to create dough trap zones on the ground — glowing pink puddles that slow anyone who steps in them by roughly 60% and deal damage over time. The entire arena can fill with these traps during extended fights, so constant lateral movement is essential. Never stand still for more than a second. Use your dash or blink abilities to cross trap zones quickly without taking full damage. Flight-capable fruits like Dough itself or Dragon give a massive advantage here since they completely bypass floor traps.
Awakened Buddha is the meta pick for this fight because the transformation's expanded hitbox lets you deal damage while staying mobile and tanking hits efficiently. The key rotation is: activate Buddha, approach from a diagonal angle to bait his slam attack, punish during the recovery animation with a full melee combo, then back off before his counter-strike. His slam has a very visible wind-up — the moment you see him raise his arm, start moving away immediately.
At around 40% HP, the Dough King enters a rage state and begins throwing large dough projectiles in addition to his normal attacks. Position yourself behind terrain pillars in the arena to block projectiles and create safe spots to land combos. Two or three players coordinating aggro makes this phase significantly easier — while one player draws his melee attention, others can freely deal damage from range.
